Spending attention on Pasts,

Tracing evolutions from beginnings

Through various developments,

In fairly plausible fictions.

It can populate remote Futures

With various consequences of

Nearsighted focus on immediate

Future, the Pasts’ many mistakes,

The moving line’s inattentions.
